Facilities

Based in the Community Centre hall, access to the building is good. The hall is spacious and bright with kitchen facilities, a cloakroom and toilets within easy reach of the children. We have an enclosed, safe outdoor space which is easily accessible and used for a variety of outdoor activities. We also have access to the field and woodlands adjacent to the Community Centre which we use for sports, games, nature walks and treasure hunts. There is plenty of parking available.

Our Secret Garden!

Summer 2024 sees our new garden area ready for the children to play in. This is situated at the back of the preschool and provides a large, fully enclosed space for us.

The covered area along with the shade from the trees means this garden will be much more accessible and provide outdoor play all year round - rain or shine!


We are ideally situated in the Village to be able to access lots of the local amenities. We often take the children out to visit the Community Library, the local shops, the recreation ground as well as visiting the Infant School. We have good links with North Baddesley Infants and during the later part of the year we take our older children to visit the Year R area regularly. Here they can play in the outdoor area or visit the library as well as meet some of the staff. This helps them tremendously when it comes to their transition to 'Big School'.
Many of our children go on to North Baddesley Infant School when they leave us, however we also have lots of children who move on to other local schools in both Romsey and Rownhams. We will work closely with all of our schools to ensure a smooth transition for all of the children.
